Description: Ruby red color with the scent of ripe red wild berries, licorice and flint.  Mouth feel is warm and decisive with along finish.  You can taste the Volcano's fiery history.

Vinification and refinement:  Grown on a light hill with an average height of 300-350 meters above sea level.  Aged in oak barriques 12 months and bottle aged  an additional 12 months.

Pairings: strong cheeses, grilled meats or vegetables, red sauces
